Semester 1: Discovering AI — Lessons 1–16
Children embark on an animated adventure with robot friends Bairui (百睿), Jimmy (吉米) and Dahuang (大黄):
- Lessons 1–2: Meet the Robots — What is a robot? How do they take different shapes and serve different purposes?
- Lesson 3: Does a Robot Have a Brain? — Memory, identity, and what makes AI intelligent
- Lesson 4: The Chip Magician (芯片魔法师) — What is a chip and how does it work?
- Lesson 5: The Digital World (数字世界) — Everything becomes 0s and 1s
- Lessons 6–7: Memory & Pixels (记忆与像素) — How AI sees and remembers images
- Lessons 8–9: Colour World & Binary (彩色世界/二进制) — Image recognition and binary numbers
- Lesson 10: The Secret of 0 and 1 — Data, text, and language representation
- Lesson 11: A Special Language — What is computer language?
- Lesson 12: What is Programming? (编程是什么) — Instructions that bring robots to life
Semester 2: Thinking Like a Programmer — Lessons 13–32
Children learn the thinking frameworks that power all programming — skills that help in everyday life, not just tech:
- Lessons 13–14: Decomposition Thinking (分解思维) — Breaking big problems into small steps
- Lessons 15–16: Abstraction Thinking (抽象思维) — Finding patterns, sorting and classifying
- Lessons 17–18: Sequential Thinking (顺序思维) — Order matters; every step counts
- Lessons 19–20: Pattern Recognition (规律思维) — Finding rules in nature and daily life
- Lessons 21–22: Loop Thinking (循环思维) — Repetition and efficiency
- Lessons 23–24: Conditional Thinking (条件思维) — If this… then that (traffic lights!)
- Lessons 25–26: Function Thinking (函数思维) — Reusing solutions cleverly
- Lessons 27–28: Variable Thinking (变量思维) — Creativity through change
- Lessons 29–30: Debugging Thinking (调试思维) — Finding and fixing mistakes calmly
- Lesson 31: Algorithm Thinking (算法思维) — Planning for every possibility
